AWAY AGAIN, BUT NOT BY CHOICE... STILL NO REGRETS - FINAL

I was invited by one of the Sisters' to visit the Convent in Vellore. The place was a revelation. There are three schools, including one for language training and the other for deaf students. They have boarding facilities for students. The dedication I saw among the sisters was worth emulating. I saw young girls and boys, who cant hear, but were studying the normal school curriculum. The place is very serene and the pictures do not do justice to the view.

The inside of the chapel at the Convent.
Took this picture and was reminded of Christ the Redeemer

The fascinating thing was the ball of light above.

  1. Henry Miller used to say that "it is far more important to discover a church that no one else has ever heard of than to go to Rome and feel obliged to visit the Sistine Chapel with two hundred thousand other tourists bellowing in your ear." Maybe this is one good example.

Anyway, your post reminds us that don’t try to see the place in a day. It is far better to stay for four or five days in one place than to visit five cities in a week. Many have said..."A city is like a capricious woman (or a capricious man, if you are a woman): she/he takes time to be seduced and to reveal him/herself completely."

This is really a very interesting post. The pictures reveals what kind of place.this is best guide for travelelr too. Keep it up...
