AWAY AGAIN, BUT NOT BY CHOICE... STILL NO REGRETS - PART 4

Vellore was cool and breezy throughout the stay. When I told my friends this, they thought I was lying. Tamil Nadu in India is assumed to be hot and humid during these days, but we were lucky. The food was excellent and the weather pleasant enough to allow a long evening stroll.

The main bazaar was not much to boast about, except that it had such an array of fruits and vegetables in such a small area that I felt like taking one of everything to show back home.

Tamil Nadu is famous for its temples, but in Vellore, we clicked what we could manage to see in the evening walks.

Another discovery for us was the family tomb of Tipu Sultan, very close to CMC Vellore.
Click on the pictures and try to read the inscriptions in the following.

The view of a small hill from the tombs was beautiful.

On the last night before leaving, I clicked this picture of CMC as a part of my memories of the place.

  1. very stunning and amazing......tis means - it is not boring as there is so much we have to explore......like >>>find out how other people live, what they can teach you, how they deal with reality and with the extraordinary.....be open....wander the streets, explore alleyways, experience the freedom of looking for something – quite what you don’t know – but which, if you find it, will – you can't be sure – it will change your life.
