MF Hussain has breathed his last in a hospital in London. The news was sms-ed to me by someone who understood what it meant to me. I hope and pray that his passing away brings him the peace and reconciliation that he deserved during his lifetime.

I can remember how elated you were in meeting him, you referred to him as “The Legend”
ReplyDeleteit’s funny how your own can look at you as a disgrace just for expressing your artistic self, but he did what he loved and painted what he saw and now will be remembered for it . I remember how intimidating he looked in your post and research him, the one think that touch me about him is that he couldn’t go home, well now he’s in a better home
In your tears, death and hope blog you said “It is only after the death of a person that you realize the importance of the precious moments you had” I think you should be honored that you captured the essence of him in writing before this day :)
