AWAY AGAIN, BUT NOT BY CHOICE... STILL NO REGRETS

It has been a long time since I posted something. Have been trying to fit into new shoes; bites at places, loose at others, comfortable in some. Change is not always uncomfortable as I realised when I went (or was sent) to South India for a training programme. Took the Rajdhani Express to Chennai and landed at a more clean and less wet railway station.

The legacy of the British Raj - Rippon Building next to the Chennai Central Railway Station.

Did not have much time in the city, so could only visit two places. It is a 12km long beach according to the autorickshaw driver, and looked amazing. The weather was just cool enough for a walk to the beach and back.
A stone structure near the beach, difficult to understand.

Continued the forward journey to Vellore by bus...
